Island Park

We went to Island Park with friends this weekend and had such a blast! Thanks to Brysons grandparents for letting us use the cabin and his mom and Jim for coming up to watch over us we had a great time. Here are some of the pictures from our weekend.

Europe

This is our trip to Europe, well Bryson was going for work and I was going along for a vacation. It was amazing! I loved Europe! We went to Amsterdam, Belgium, and France. I had never been to Europe before so this was an exciting adventure for me! I went to the VanGogh museum and Anne Frank's house in Amsterdam. I also went on a canal tour. Amsterdam was very hip and everyone was super stylish. Everyone rode their bikes here too, I loved it. In Belgium I went to Brussels and Brugge on the train while Bryson was in meetings all day. I went to the Grand Palace and the pissing boy in Brussels and to a Basillica that claims to have drops of Christs blood in Brugge. We got lots of chocolate in Belgium. Our last stop was France where we had only a half a day to see the Eiffel Tower, the Notre Dame, and the Arc de Triumph. I'm glad we had the chance to go, and hopefully we will get the chance to go again soon someday.

The Bahamas/Florida trip

I have been told by a few people that I suck at posting on my blog so I decided while I am sitting in the airport waiting for our plane to pick us up I would do a little blogging. We are just coming back from our trip to Florida where we visited my cousins and my tia and took a boat ride to the Bahamas. It was so amazing! We went fisihing and on the first day Bryson caught a shark! Yes I said a shark. It was about 6 ft long and weighed about 200 lbs. It was so crazy! I was really sad to kill it, but my cousing Benny said it was tradition to kill the first catch so we had to. We caught so many fish and my cousin, who is not only a capitain but also an amazing chef, made us wonderful meals every night. It was such a great trip and we have posted some pictures to share with all so enjoy!

America's next top model

Zaira and I wanted to use our new cameras we got for Christmas so we decided to be each others models at a park in Logan. It was hard to think of different poses! We decided it really would be hard to be a model on America's next top model but it was fun. Here are some of the pictures I took of Zaira. She was a great model!

When the cousins came

My cousins Frankie and Rodrigo came to visit us from California and Miami for Spring Break. They are city boys so we decided to show them a bit of the outdoors. In 2 days we went snowboarding, well I tried skiing while they tried snowboarding, snowmobiling, skeet shooting, and to the maple grove hot springs in Idaho. Needless to say we were exhausted by the time they left! Lucy was so scared of the sound of the gun shots when we went shooting. When she heard the first shot she turned and headed down the mountain without looking back. I had to chase her down and put her in the truck. It was really fun to see my cousins since I don't really get to see them very often. We had a great time. They got the snowmobile stuck a time or two, and ran into a tree which was pretty funny oh yes and ran right into a jump and got the snowmobile stuck but I think they started to get a hang of it toward the end. Now Bryson and I want to go to Miami to visit Frankie so he can take us deep sea fishing, jet skiing, and on a boat to the Bahamas. Hopefully we can go sooner than later!

Photography

I am starting to get into photography so I decided I should start updating my blog so that I have somewhere to put all the pictures I am taking. Bryson and I bought ourselves a new SLR digital camera for Christmas and it is so fun figuring out the different settings and how to edit the pictures. I wish it would stop snowing already so that I could go out with Lucy on walks and take pictures. I am really liking taking pictures because I am a very uncreative person but with pictures you have to try to see things in a different way to make the photo interesting. I really suck still but it is fun so here are some of my pictures (if I can figure out how to post them on here).
